Following our Instagram Live Takeover with Porsche specialist Richard Tuthill, he is very kindly donating an incredible One Day Ice Driving Experience package with Below Zero in Åre, Sweden in early 2021. All proceeds from this sale will be given to support the welfare and wellbeing of NHS staff as they fight COVID-19.

This is a full-day itinerary where you will get behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 rally car prepared by Tuthill Porsche, with first-hand instruction from world-class rally driving professionals. All venue hire fees, track preparation, tyres, fuel and incidentals are included in the package.

Below Zero’s ice driving season is scheduled to run from early January until late March 2021. This experience will take place during that window, with the exact date to be arranged between the winning bidder and Tuthill Porsche, subject to other bookings already in place.

On the day itself, you will be on the ice between around 9am and 3.30pm. Starting first on button studs to learn the rudimentary skills around a slalom course, you will then progress to the first lake circuit, to experience the incredible sensation of drifting a rally car from corner to corner.

There will then be a short break for a delicious hot lunch in Below Zero’s authentic Swedish Hunting Lodge, before it’s back to the ice and onto fully studded competition tyres where you’ll be introduced to a whole new world of driving dynamics. Tuthill Porsche’s team of support vehicles and technicians will be continuously on-hand to keep you behind the wheel for as long as possible.

The winning bidder is welcome to attend the experience day on their own, or to bring a partner or friend to share their day with, on the basis of each having half the driving time in the 911. Travel and accommodation is not included, so this will need to be arranged by the winning bidder.
